LBS Gravel Battle 2017

Date: Saturday, June 3rd, 9am start.
Check-in with Cam before 8:45am at Art Brulant.

***Note, there's been some requests to make the teams smaller, to two or three max and so, we have agreed to do so.
The Gravel Battle takes riders on a 100km gravel team pursuit across the Pontiac Region of Western Quebec.
The LBS Gravel Battle is a team event, based on the idea that riding communities are shaped greatly around the support towards our Local Bike Shops. Arrive as a team, represent your Local Bike Shop and ride an amazing 100km loop, that is 95% gravel (5km of pavement at most). The course is a mix of rolling farmland, steep ATV doubletrack and some magical gravel paths!

Route: Will be a close variation of this route:LBS Gravel Battle Route (use the route file to plan for water and food needs). Evacuation is self-managed.

Register Here: email cameron_dube@hotmail.com to enter yourself/team.

Event Start/Finish:Shawville, QC, at the Art Brulant and Impressions Cafe, located HERE

Cost: By Donation, in order to cover insurance and the rest goes to the SPCA and animals that are in need!

Rules:
Course is NOT MARSHALED and NOT SIGNED & roads are NOT CLOSED TO TRAFFIC (but there's really nobody around anyways)

1. Teams must be a minimum of 2 to 3 riders.
2. Team captain emails cameron_dube@hotmail.com to register their team.
3. At least one team member needs to have a GPS with route loaded onto it.
4. Team must complete the ride never spread-out more than 1 kilometer from each other and must finish together.

THE IDEAL BIKE WOULD BE A MONSTER CROSS TYPE RIDE WITH 40 TO 45C TIRES, HOWEVER I'VE RIDDEN THIS ROUTE ON MY CX WITH 35C SCHWALBE G-ONES AND HAD NO ISSUES AND ALSO ON MY FATBIKE TOO!
